I look forward to discussing your child's needs (or yours) and how I can help her/him to become a successful student in school. Hi!

Jana is very responsible and structured. She helped our son tremendously. Five starts for Jana. My son needed tutoring in multiple subjects and Jana put him on a schedule that helped us catch up with homework and focus on asserting his learning in key elements that were required by the school. I'd recommend her to any kid in need to focus and structure himself/herself.
Jana was exactly the teacher our 8 year old daughter needed in order to improve her English. Our daughter had just moved from Thailand and needed an experienced teacher that could quickly assess our daughter's skill level and develop an organized lesson plan. We only had 5 weeks before the start of the school year and the 2 hour sessions were fairly intense. Needless to say, our daughter did great because Jana was able to incorporate fun activities into the learning lessons. The improvement in our child's grammar and vocabulary were remarkable.
I would not hesitate to recommend Jana as a ESL tutor. She was a professional in every aspect.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
