I ghave compiled a remarkable record after forty years as an educator and athletics coach. My teaching credentials have been exemplary, earning selection to Who's Who among America's Teachers in 2000, '05, '06, and '07.
I have taught at the high school and collegiate (tenured) levels in health, physical education, and in special education where he served as a director in a public charter school. I have published books and performed research in fitness, sport science, physical education, and track & field events.
Internationally, I taught and coached at the Ghana West Africa coaches school for Track & Field. I have taken US teams to international meets in such venues as Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Sydney, Mexico City, and British Columbia Canada. I have performed strength and conditioning training for the Olympic and Paralympic games, and athletes preparing or competing in the NFL.
I have been inducted into a Hall of Fame, and continue to be an advisor to athletes, schools, and teams. Many of my former student-athletes have gone on to professional careers in medicine, law, law enforcement, and education. I have been a volunteer for the Special Olympics and Wounded Warriors programs. He continues to coach, teach, and do research for publication in the areas of sport, recreation, and disabled sports.
I have taught anatomy at the collegiate and high school level. In my coaching of track and field and in my research in sport science, I have had to use my knowledge of anatomy to help me with my students and my athletes.
I have studied History all my career. My doctoral dissertation dealt with a historical analysis. "If someone fails to study and learn from history, they have a tendency to repeat it" is a quote that I picked up and have always used in my instruction.
I have spent the last 15 years as a special education teacher K-8, and have instructed both the severe and profoundly disabled youth as well as the mild and moderate disabled child. I have also coached blind and visually impaired youth in sport and fitness activities.
I have been a coach of track and field, cross country, and strength & conditioning for over 40 years. I have coached 8 Olympic athletes, and served as a Paralympic Track & Field Coach in Barcelona, Atlanta, and Sydney. I have coached successfully at the prep, club, collegiate, and international levels, and my athletes have won 2 national team titles and earned over 120 All-American honors in the track & field events.

I am a certified special education teacher. I am a Level III certified teacher in the state of Utah, which means I am "highly qualified" to do instruction for children, K-12 with severe, profound, or moderate special needs.
I am a veteran coach with over 40 years experience with all the events of track & field at the youth-club, prep, collegiate, and international areas. I have worked with, coached, and trained numerous Olympians, Paralympians, and Olympic/Paralympic hopefuls in the sport of track & field and cross country. My athletes have won over 120 All-American certificates in the NCAA and in the NAIA.
