I completed my PhD in math at Indiana University, where I taught undergraduate courses in finite math, algebra, and calculus. Over the last two years I taught high school at Interlochen Center for the Arts, focusing on discrete math with connections to music and visual art. I'm currently a remote instructor at Cleveland State University teaching Calculus I and Abstract Algebra. All together I've spent the past 12 years teaching and tutoring a wide variety of courses and age groups. I like to study music and computer science with a mathematical perspective, and like to use programming languages to compose music and make visual art. I'm experienced and effective at teaching remotely, and look forward to working with you towards your mathematical goals!

Knowledgeable and super easy to understand

Ryan is tutoring me in math Analysis and it really helps the fact that he knows the textbook I am using. Answers messages fairly quickly and is easy to schedule with. Very polite and definitely will continue for the rest of the semester!
