About Josh

As a biochemist with a BS degree and industrial experience, I have worked hard to gain knowledge in a verity of fields of study. With experience in Chemistry, Math, Physics and Biology I have acquired multiple analytical skills and am will-equipped to solve everyday problems encountered on the job. In addition to my academic skills I also have worked in a machine shop and have glass blowing experience. I have taken a full year of AutoCAD Courses and I am familiar with AutoCAD 2010 and Inventor 2010. I am a novel thinker with ability to think outside the box, and I am looking to utilize my education laboratory experience and my work ethic.

-Knowledge of FDA GMP/GLP BQ-9000 and ISO manufacturing methods.
-Standard operation procedures: Generating SOP form method development to practices.
-Cell culture experience with both mammalian, yeast and bacterial cells.
-Bio-processing design and implementation:

-Testing the bioprocess for Cell severability for both mammalian and bacterial cells.
-Testing the bioprocess for Cell toxicity.
-Using maker proteins to look at protein production and purification processes.
-Sterility testing of bioprocess and equipment.
-ELISA testing of products.
-Using enzymes and antibodies for drug discovery testing.
-Bacterial and mammalian cell growth studies in newly formulated media.
-Using standard biochemistry and molecular biology equipment.
-Lab set-up form from initial design to implementation.
-Using NMR, FT-IR, UV/VIS, EPR, HPLC and GC-MS to explore chemical structures.
