I'm a Professional Photographic Artist, who specializes in Travel & Street Photography. My B.A. Degree is in Environmental Interior Design which provided me the opportunity to travel globally, designing Museum, Custom Trade Show and Retail exhibits. During my travels, I enjoyed taking photographs of interesting design details in different cities for creative reference. After several years of that lifestyle and a move to the Bay Area, I had a desire to make a life change. I returned to college to study Photographic Art. I've obtained both Professional Photography and Architectural Photography Certifications.

The last five years I've explored working in several photographic genres, first as a Newborn Photographer with a nationwide company contracted to several large hospitals and then as a Real Estate Photographer for an International company. I enjoyed both genres. However, it wasn't until I attended a class in Photographic Storytelling at Stanford University with the result of my submitted photographic class work being published in "Climate Magazine", did I realize my passion.

Travel & Street photography make use of natural lighting, photographic techniques and a comprehensive understanding of of the subject in order to create inspirational stories about people, places and things. I've had projects recognized in American Photographic Artist's (APA) online gallery and with Lens Culture. I work in digital, different film formats and experimental vintage processes. On June 30, 2021, my application for membership in Nikon Professional Services was approved. I do own and use other cameras in different formats but use Nikon cameras on most professional projects.
