Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education. I have experience teaching in both middle school and high school settings, as well as supporting students as a paraeducator in more specialized learning environments.
I currently work as a substitute teacher and summer school teacher across four different school districts, which allows me to work with a wide range of teaching styles, classrooms, and student learning needs. This experience has given me strong insight into where students commonly struggle and how to support them in a way that builds both confidence and understanding.
I believe every student is capable of growth with the right support, encouragement, and instruction that meets them where they are. My goal is to create a positive, patient, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building lasting skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
