I am nice, patient, smart, young enough to relate, old enough to know my stuff, and have a proven track record of success. I have a very approachable and relatable demeanor that students appreciate. I believe in unfailing honesty, a sincere and kind attitude, and a curriculum that is transparent and relatively challenging. My schedule is flexible and I can travel anywhere reasonably close to Tacoma/Lakewood/University Place. My fixed rate is $40/hr.

I've tutored math for about 16 years, which is half my life (yes, going back to high school). Enough that it's all pretty much stuck. I had a fairly math-intensive education. In short, I like math and by pure osmosis (and some actual tutoring) suspect you will too.

I was a physics major before transferring to atmospheric science (which is more physics). I've tutored physics off and on for about 10 years. It's important to know how the world works, and I like helping others understand how the world works.

Let's set something up! Students tend to like me because I bring a little perspective and personality to the sessions, and basically treat them like adults. Also, once they get the material, the training wheels come off and I become more a guide than teacher. Teach a person to fish, and all that.
