I have over 40 years of allied healthcare experience in all aspects of the front office arena. In the past I have been an instructor for Kaplan College (Medical Office Specialist Program) and Everest College (Medical Billing and Coding). I have also tutored individuals when I had my own Medical Transcription business for 11 years. I am a Medical Assistant, a Certified Patient Accounts Technician, a former Laboratory Supervisor, and have worked for the last 20 years with all aspects of the medical insurance industry.

I studied Spanish for 8 years and taught beginning Spanish in a local private elementary school. In my present employment position, I have spent the last 4 years meeting daily with Spanish-speaking patients, both in person and over the phone.
