I have a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Rensselaer Polynechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY. My area of expertise is modeling phenomena from the natural and engineering sciences using mathematical techniques which are then compared with observational and experimental data relevant to the phenomena under investigation.

I have taught calculus sequence courses at RPI, SUNY Albany, and Washington State University and tutored students at all these institutions. My tutoring strength lies in recognizing why students have difficulty mastering a certain concept and providing them with strategies to alleviate those deficiencies by learning from first principles rather than merely by rote.

If you are having any trouble in those courses for which I may be able to provide help, please feel free to contact me and schedule the relevant tutoring session.
