I would love to tutor those that really need help. My experience includes: both formal instruction and self-studying in different subjects, such as yoga and criminal justice. I can also help young students, as I have two kids in grade school- one in kindergarten, and the other in 2nd grade. I have also gone through all the years of schooling, with a year post-high school in college. I have taken college courses while in high school through a program called Running Start. Running Start is where you're enrolled in high school while taking college courses at the college you enrolled at. I have also done photography, with one photo that I had submitted into a photo contest. I have many photos that I have taken, that I would love to share upon request.
My tutoring approach will be a fun approach, as having fun while learning will most likely be the most effective approach. From my own experience, if there's no fun while learning, I tend to get bored- which leads to poor grades. So to help others from that same downfall, I will make learning fun! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
