Hello, I graduated from the University of Washington and Texas A & M University. I have lots of teaching experience in mathematics and statistics as I was a math/stats Adjunct faculty at University of Alaska Anchorage and Adjunct Professor University of Maryland University College Asia. Wish to tutor you with my best knowledge in Math/Stats.

In-person lessons

We started simple and he explained everything clearly. There is so much to learn with Korean!

Learned a lot, very patient and willing to re-explain things that I did not get the 1st time. He was versed in the subject, he has an ability to parse out the important things and explain them in a digestible manner.

Taught precalculus and algebra 2, really helped my daughter out! He helped teach step by step and really helped my daughter to understand the material. I would recommend him to any student needing help in math, he is very knowledgeable and very professional.

I am amazed at how wonderful Lee J, my tutor in statistics, is! I am getting an "A" in statistics and hope to keep my grade right there. I am certain to with Lee's help. Thank you.

Lee is thorough and patient. He is really good at finding out why you are having trouble with a concept and helping explain it. I can't thank him enough.

Lee is very knowledgeable about the math subject we met about. He was easy to understand and quick to adapt to my level. Thank you Lee.

He is an excellent mentor in statistics. He was very patient and explained everything with details and examples. I recommend this tutor 100%!

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I was an adjunct faculty at University of Alaska Anchorage from Jan 1992 to May 1999 and I taught Introductory Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra and Calculus. Also, I was an adjunct/associate professor at University of Maryland University College (Military Overseas Education Program) from year 2000 to year 2007 and I taught Introductory Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Calculus and Statistics.

When I was a UW student, after I took differential equations, I tutored this subject to college students.

Also, as an Electrical Engineering student, I studied about Laplace Transform and Fourier Series.

I can tutor up to college level students.

I taught linear programming, critical path method, queuing system and forecasting in Chapman University included functions and relations, conic systems, matrix algebra, probability.

I was born in Korea and spent 25 years. After that, I came over States and attended University of Washington. I can read and speak Korean as a native Korean.
