I have a passion for working with children of all ages and have extensive experience doing so as a lead toddler teacher, a nanny for 4 different families and am currently a paraeducator at Canyon Creek Elementary in the SE room for 1:1. My strongest aptitudes have been in reading and writing, I am an avid reader and also took a course through the Children's Institute of Literature for writing children's stories! I absolutely love working with children to help them grow and thrive, starting from where-ever they are at!
I have taken an 8 week class in Love and Logic, worked with a variety of personalities and age groups, have strong language skills and went to the state spelling bee when I was young and, most importantly, LOVE working with children to help them feel successful in their own abilities:)

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
