In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Though I chose my own path as a business consultant, it has produced great results I hope to share with you. Also, as a School of Business Faculty member, I have numerous experiences in designing, and evaluating effective business models for noted businesses as Microsoft, Pearson Education, and the Institute of Systems Biology. As a classroom teacher for 15 years, what it all really comes down to is just how well you can get students to connect with the subject matter, and develop skills for future success. I have a multiple subject teaching credential for preschool to 12th grade. I have taught all subjects in grades K-8 and specialize in multiple intelligence learners. I make a plan of success that will have strong success and reliable results that you can help to manage into the future.
The first computer I ever worked on was an Apple IIe – ever heard of it? Since that time, I have diverse experience in designing effective computer classes, and coaching new users to feel comfortable and confident in using various computer hardware, software, and programs. Broad understanding of various computer needs/media, program use, and support of new software programs, or installation.
I have been working in graphic design using a number of applications including Adobe and Microsoft Office tools for the past five years with clients ranging from large companies to small businesses.
I am confident in working to build solutions that help to grow skills in creative design and ways to implement them with relevant work experience. I allow the student to be able to have parameters for creative design while at the same time providing clear feedback based on given criteria.
Students should already have a good understanding of basic computer and design skills.
I have been speaking publicly for over 10 years. I have created many types of presentations including: Professional, Business/Board, Public/Political, Educational, Informational, and Entertaining. I have been working in web design for the past 7 years, and always look to build sites that are clear, and simple to use.
