My name is Robert B. I have 40+ years of teaching experience, with many of those years being in physics and chemistry. Most of my teaching experience has been in American schools overseas. There are many American parents with their children living overseas, and I have been involved in this type of teaching since 1970. I recently retired in October 2013 in order to return to the US, and now live in Blaine, Washington.
The countries I've taught in as a science teacher have been Vietnam, Korea, Liberia, Jordan, Egypt, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Singapore, and finally the United States. In all those countries I taught American students and other international students.
I've taught AP Physics, chemistry, physical science and even biology. I feel most at home with physics and welcome the opportunity to help any students having some difficulty with physics or chemistry.
Thank you, and hope to hear from you if you need some guidance in the sciences.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
