My name is Teacher Thomas and I am a certified (K-8) teacher. I have just returned from South Korea where I taught English for three years! I look forward to helping you with understanding and speaking the English language by way of word games, conversation practice and more.
Although I'm not fluent in Spanish, I can speak enough to carry on small conversations and am learning more all the time... I speak very little Korean, but I welcome any student from any culture who just wants to learn more English...
I also play guitar in my Church's worship team and would love to teach you beginning guitar, provided of course that you have your own guitar.
My main interest in tutoring would be English, Art, and Music. I am not very skilled in Mathematics, but I feel confident I could help with elementary math, if need be...just know that math is not my strongest subject.
I live in Bellingham, Washington... Am dependent on the bus for now. I think the public library might be a good place to meet for lessons. If you are in need of a tutor after school or on Saturdays, please respond.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
