Western Washington University (Physics, Astrony, Math)
My name is Patrick P., I attend Western Washington University where I am currently studying Math and Physics. I also play Rugby for WWU Men's Team. I was a peer tutor in high school, where I learned how to help students learn new material in a realistic and useful way. I enjoy helping students reason through problems not just give them the answer. I try to show the importance of actually understanding the material not just to pass the test but to make the student a better all around person, a very important lesson I learned on my path to become an Eagle Scout. I have a very flexible scheduled, I am free most mornings, evenings and nights.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
The reason I am qualified to teach Differential equations is because I am a Physics Major with a math minor at Western Washington University. I took differential equations 2 years ago and passed with a B+. I have to solve lots of Differential Equations in many fields of physics such as Electromagnetism, classical mechanics, and many others. I have tutored in the subject before and it has worked out well.
The reason I am qualified to teach Linear Algebra is because I am a Physics Major with a math minor at Western Washington University. I took 2 courses in Linear Algebra last year and the year before. I have to use Linear Algebra in many fields of physics such as Quantum, Modern and many others. I have tutored linear algebra before and it has worked out well.
I am qualified to tutor logic because I have already tutored logic and received an A in my logic class at Western Washington University, where we covered how to form logical arguments and how to prove them. I also have done lots of computer programming, such as C++ that uses logical arguments to compute problems. Additionally I am working on my Math and Physics degrees, math is pure logic and physics is all about breaking down complex problems in to smaller logical components that can be solved.
