You'll find my approach to your learning English fun, interesting, supportive, and effective. I've taught ESL to high school students in Yaxunah, a Mayan village in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. I've also tutored and taught ESL adult students in Seattle. In sum, I have over 150 hours of classroom and tutoring experience. We'll use your personal interests as a gateway for lessons, conversation, and written exercises. We'll use your favorite learning style to speed up your progress, too.
Building vocabulary that YOU want to remember and use is one of the primary goals we'll work toward. We'll use "sight words" (flashcards) as well as short written exercises to ensure your success. Our sessions will be conducted in English...of course! However, we can use Google Translate as necessary, if you have difficulty in understanding a concept or the meaning of a word.
Let's get started! Contact me today to schedule your first session.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Since 1997 I've been a Photoshop user and tutor. As a freelance graphic designer I've created and used "Photoshopped" graphics and photographs in published books, on book covers, in brochures, newsletters, on the web, and as stand-alone photographic prints.
80% of the great results you can achieve in Photoshop come from just 20% of the features. I'll show you what those powerful features are, so you'll be producing great looking photos for your projects in no time!
