Since then, I have worked with small groups of children who are struggling to learn reading and phonics, I have been a one-on-one Instructional Assistant with autistic children in middle school, and am currently a substitute teacher for all age groups.

I have an excellent rapport with young children and have learned many different tactics to help children improve their test scores and boost their confidence.

Since graduating from college and spending a few years at home with my newborn, I returned to school and took many classes in Education. I was a tutor in Oregon in a program designed for young children struggling with reading called HOSTS, (Helping One Student To Succeed). I then worked as a Paraprofessional in middle school helping students with special needs as well as being a one-on-one aide for an autistic child. Since moving to Vermont, I have worked as a substitute teacher and have helped many children improve their academic skills. Reading and writing are my strongest skills, and I have learned many tactics which help students improve their English grades.
