Working with Florencio has been a wonderful experience. He has been very patient with my son and is very accommodating as well. He found that my son likes competition and has turned most lessons into a game to help him understand the concepts they are working on. My son looks forward to meeting with Rence twice a week and was disappointed when I told him that we would be stopping the lessons once school started.

He really took his time with our son who had anxiety issues. He read him well and figured out a great lesson plan for him. Very patient and calm!

My child is in 4th grade and has struggled with math since 2nd grade. Florencio is the first person able to help him in a fun way. My son is easily distracted but during tutoring sessions Florencio has been able to get him back on track. My son is learning and having fun.

My son had another great lesson he loves working with MR. Ricco. He is really starting to get math concepts!!

My son is looking forward to future sessions with Florencio. Florencio is very personable and knowledgeable. He is helping my son to prepare for taking the SAT and ACT (mathematics sections) tests later this fall. He is inspiring my son to do well on the tests. My son is a senior and is not taking math this fall and so the weekly tutoring sessions are invaluable.

I am posting a review from a mothers point of view. My daughter last year started to struggle in math.

I was so happy with Florencio! My daughter looks forward to Mondays every week in order to have tutoring! I just never imagined a 14 year old (teenager!) looking forward to learning. It is wonderful, and to see her explain at the dinner table the topics that they covered this week is great. She has a spark in her eye. Last night (Monday) at the dinner table she looked at her dad and said "Guess what? I am awesome at fractions" Her dad and I both laughed, but it is so nice to see the connection she is making in different types of math.

Florencio is patient and funny! He seems to really connect and engage others to learn.

I would highly recommend Florencio to tutor anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
