My son's reading improved with the help of JoAnn. Also a great help to me as a parent with understanding and helping my son.
JoAnn has been working with our second grade daughter on reading for the last 3 weeks. I have been so impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. She has a structured plan each week and has been able to identify the areas where my child needs help and tailor her lessons to meet those needs. JoAnn is a highly experienced teacher who is equally patient and kind. I feel fortunate to have found such a jewel!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
