I am experienced admissions professional, having both worked in undergraduate admissions and law school admissions. I have coordinated and been a part of college admissions workshops, mock application workshops, and have worked at a highly selective liberal arts school in their admission office. With mock application workshops, I walked through the admission process with both parents and students to allow them to understand how college applications are read and how best students can present themselves to colleges through the application process.
I have also worked on-on-one with college applications with their college search, where to apply, writing essay, communicating with colleges, etc. With the college search, I have worked previously with over a dozen students. I start by learning about the student, his or her backgrounds and interests to help gauge what type of school he/she should consider. Once a college interest list is built, I would begin working with students on the application. Drafting and review is very important in the process, and I serve as a guide and commentator to help the student craft his/her message in the best possible way.
I have a passion for college admissions and enjoy working with high school students in finding colleges that are good fits for them! Hello!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
