I love to tutor in Biblical Hebrew & Greek. I am very patient and confident that any person can learn the language. I have always tutored since my elementary days, (though not in Hebrew and Greek, but in Math) and I have tutored graduate students in Biblical Hebrew & Greek for the past two years being a teacher assistant to three professors while doing my graduate studies. I completed my Masters in Divinity at Regent University, majoring in Practical Theology with a double concentration in Biblical Studies and Church & Ministry. I received an award for academic excellence and Christian character upon commissioning. I can also tutor in Math and Accounting since my undergraduate degree is Bachelor of Science in Math before I shifted to Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Also, as a certified Life Coach and fitness buff, I can tutor in Physical Education or any aspect thereof.
My style in tutoring is unique to each individual for each person has his or her own areas of strengths and weaknesses. I believe in motivating and empowering the one I am tutoring for I know he/she knows his/her situation best. I work through the goals and action plans committed by my clients. I do lectures to clarify things that were not understood or mastered yet by my client. I believe in building proper relationship, perspective, support, and accountability so that my client can reach his/her maximum potential. I find fulfillment and joy in tutoring and helping others learn and perform to their maximum potential. I love to tutor in Biblical Hebrew & Greek. I can tutor 4 students all at the same time for the same rate as tutoring one person. I can reduce my rate to $30 per hour if the student is willing to meet at the Princess Anne library.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
