Hello, my name is David!

I am currently a law school at the Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach. I have five years' experience tutoring high school and college-level math at French, both privately and at Mesa Community College in the greater Phoenix area. I have a minor in mathematics at Ottawa University Arizona, in Surprise, AZ. I've tutored high school math of all levels, and guest lectured at Fremont Junior High in Mesa. I'd love to help you study, understand your homework, review your notes, or prep for an exam!

I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam as a senior in high school, and have A's in Calculus III, Differential Equations, and advanced Probability.

In addition, I learned French fluently while growing up in Central Africa, and have gone on to study French literature and theater in college.

I live in Virginia Beach, and can help with tutoring anywhere in the area. Please let me know how I can help you!

Happy studying,
David

Saxophone

I began taking lessons in alto saxophone as a freshman in high school, in the fall of 2008; I took lessons regularly for one year, and continued to practice on my own through 2010. In 2010, as a junior in high school, I joined the Concert Band, open to all students, as well as the audition-only Jazz Band, at Valley Christian High School, in Chandler, AZ. Our Concert Band and Jazz Band were both directed by Mr. Daniel Lara. As a senior (2011-12), I was elected President of the Concert Band, and served until the end of my senior year of high school. I received the Outstanding Musicianship Award from Forum Music Festivals for my individual play in the spring of 2012, as part of our Concert Band's adjudicated performance in La Mirada, CA. I was also awarded the John Philip Sousa Band Award by Valley Christian High School in the spring of 2012, for excellence in Concert Band. Since then I have continued to play saxophone occasionally for friends and family, and for personal enjoyment.
