Geri is a great tutor and is very knowledgeable. My son looks forward to his lessons. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing help with Spanish.
My son was struggling a bit in Spanish 1 so I decided to hire a tutor. Geri has been a wonderful help to him. She is a great teacher- keeps him on task, pinpoints problem areas, brings lots of creative activities and lessons and is very sweet! I just wish his teacher at school was half as good!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am certified in Spanish for grades K-12. I have 27+ years of teaching experience.
As a retired teacher with over 27 years experience I feel I have the knowledge to help students with study skills. I am an advocate that this is an area that should be taught in schools by all teachers. We were required to attend staff development in areas related to general skill not just our content area.
