Bio

I've been an educator for over 20 years and I love it. I've tutored one on one and I've lectured in a large hall. I'm sure I can help you achieve success in English, writing, history, political science or reading. Contact me when you can. I speak French and can be helpful at the beginning to intermediate levels. I believe there are three types of learner: literal learners (who can learn much through reading), auditory learners (who can learn much through lectures or auditory media) and kinesthetic learners (learners who learn much through hands-on experiences). Whichever learning style fits you, I'm sure I can accommodate you.

I have tutored pupils in remedial reading, writing skills, and phonetic development using the Abecca system. Currently, I teach students with learning disabilities, which is intensive in the area of study skills. One technique I use includes helping students to develop a flip-fold study guide using lined paper. This enables them to retain information. For auditory learners I teach fun but meaningful word associations which might include music. For kinesthetic learners I use hands-on visual aids.
