Bio

I am a dynamic, certified special education teacher, senior instructor, and curriculum developer who has owned my own training business since 2008. I completed my MBA as a summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.93 and I simply have a life-long love for learning. I have my state teaching certification as a Special Education teacher and am currently completing my (second) Master's degree in education, and my Doctorate in Business Administration. I am a dynamic, certified special education teacher, senior instructor, and curriculum developer who has owned my own training business since 2008. I completed my MBA as a summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.93 and I simply have a life-long love for learning. I have my state teaching certification as a Special Education teacher and am currently completing my (second) Master's degree in education, and my Doctorate in Business Administration. I have extensive professional experience teaching online using Zoom, Adobe Connect, and Blackboard applications. I am a qualified U.S. Army instructor and a retired Army Reserve officer, so my background has prepared me for any challenging situations In the classroom. Additional professional certifications include: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Agilist, ITIL V3 Certified, ICP Agile Coach, ICP Agile Team Facilitator, and CompTia Security+.

My husband is also a retired Army Officer and we have a daughter who recently graduated college with a BS in psychology and two younger children in 8th and 10th grades. I am very active in my church and volunteer as often as my schedule will allow. I have also been active with Big Brother and Sisters and have a genuine passion with working with children and adults.
