Hello everyone! My name is Afton and I am a teacher in PWCS. During my undergrad career, I majored in Biology with a minor in Math. I was a 3 year mathematics tutor during my undergrad for Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus classes. I really enjoy math and am able to help students understand the material in a variety of ways.

I have a lot of teaching experience including substitute teaching, math tutoring, teaching assistant positions, a Graduate Teaching Assistant at WIU, and now a special education teacher in the Prince William. I taught the general biology lab and I taught Ecology and Zoology to undergrad students. I look forward to working with you to ensure your full educational reach.

I currently work with elementary students with autism. My abilities for high school math are still second nature and I would love to help you learn. Please contact with any questions.
