She graduated with an MBA in Economics in 2016 from Southern New Hampshire University and a BA in Economics in 2013 from Ithaca College. Her focus in the program is Feminist Economics and her research revolves around how gender definitions play a role in the creation of various economic systems and what would happen to the US economy if we reduced socially constructed gender definitions, in the United States, through matrilineal/matrifocal principles.

Katharine has 2 years of accounting experience at a small company and taught Economics and Personal Finance during the 2015-2016 school year at George Washington High School. Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Business

I have a BA in Economics with a Business minor and an MBA with a concentration in Economics. I finished my master's degree with a 3.867. This past year, I taught Economics and Personal Finance at my local high school. I worked in Accounting for two years, interned at DaCheng Law Offices in Shanghai for the Fall 2010 semester, and interned at a consulting company in New York City's Financial District during the summer of 2010 and 2011.

Econometrics

I have a BA in Economics and an MBA with a concentration in Economics where I graduated with a 3.867. I have used Econometrics in several academic papers I have written, the longest being my senior Economic thesis that discusses the relationship between the restaurant industry and Real GDP. I am proficient in E-Views and Minitab, which I use to conduct econometric tests on data.
