My approach is to be quick to encourage and to provide explanations, practice, support, and appropriate challenges for your student. I have 10 great years of tutoring experience (two years private school teaching experience), but I'm still young enough for your child not to tune out my advice. I have taught and tutored over 200 students.

I have worked with many students who felt that their teachers did not care about their progress, but I have always had a personal approach with special attention to test dates and material. That supportive strategy has allowed me to see steady growth in the grades and dispositions of my students. I never pressure students; I always encourage them. Confidence is a major factor in tackling math problems, so I always work on that quality in conjunction with the material. I'm funny and easy going and will not make your student feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, or confused at any time.

I helped a sweet teenage girl with low processing skills go from an F to a B in geometry within four months. I also taught a senior with anxiety how to tackle the ACT for the third time. He earned the score he needed and got into the university of his choice after eight sessions with me.

I taught in the classroom for two years at a private school, I majored in math, and I have worked for locally and nationally known tutoring companies with children in third grade up to adults going back to college. I have experience with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and more. I am very comfortable with each individual student. I can quickly discover where they are in the material and their learning speed. And I can even make up problems on the spot for extra practice.

I also have a passion for English and enjoy vocabulary and writing. I use these skills to prepare students for the SAT, ACT, GRE, etc. I have published a couple of magazine articles, and I have aspirations of writing a book as well.

I hope you do not settle for a teacher with a rigid nature. Enthusiasm is contagious! I would be honored to share mine wi

worth every penny and worth every minutes

Mrs. Becky is an amazing math teacher. We started last school year because my daughter was tanking in her pre-calc class. Mrs. Becky walked her through the class materials and my daughter's final math grade was 95. We are continuing the lessons for SAT math and Mrs. Becky is showing my daughter the ins and out ofbexam prep. I am looking forward to see how much my progress daughter will make during this summer.

Wonderful tutor.

She has been working with my daughter. My daughter enjoys working with her and she is doing a lot of better in school. Becky is able to help with my daughter by pin-pointing the areas she is not getting and make sure she gets it. She also gives my daughter worksheets that she can do to get familiarized the problems. She is also very considerate and flexible to the needs of the student.

Knowledgeable

This was our first lesson with Becky and my son really enjoyed how she approached him with his math problem she was really easy going and very thoughtful and nice and considerate and seem to be really smart and knowledgeable about her field we're definitely keeping Becky and if anybody reads this you need to get her to tutor your child because I believe she's going to be a heck of a tutor for my Charlie.

A great experience!

Becky has been a blessing for my daughter. We found Becky late in the semester, but she was still able to help my daughter bring her grade up quite a bit. Becky was patient, kind and very easy for my daughter to communicate with. She makes the kids feel relaxed which is very important for a student, tutor relationship. I would not hesitate to use her again!
