January of 2011 I successfully passed the Virginia State Cosmetology Instructor's Exam and received my Instructors License to teach Cosmetology. During my career as a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor and Licensed Cosmetologist, I have come to realize and respect all aspects of the cosmetology industry. Their are many categories to choose from and master. My number one skill is healthy hair first. It is imperative as a hairstylist to realize the benefits of quality hair products from shampoo to finishing spray and the difference in not just a client's hair request, but also the importance of a customized finish.
I proudly graduated from Highland Springs Vocational Technical Center. I offer certified cosmetology experience since 1998, consisting of all hair textures, hair cutting with shears and clipper cutting (barbering), hair coloring and highlighting, conditioning treatments, hair relaxers, permanent waving, braiding, and weaving extensions.
Over the course of 17 years, I have experienced many facets of the field of cosmetology in working in different salon environments and with a multitude of different clients and hair textures. I have developed a great passion for sharing my experience with other individuals who want to pursue the field of cosmetology and I was able to demonstrate that passion during my employment with Empire Beauty School of Midlothian, VA, as an Assistant Salon Leader at Hair Cuttery, and Hairstylist at Dudley's Beauty Center. Currently I provide a private salon studio for my expertise.
I am happy to offer a free consultation meeting at my salon studio to gain your confidence in viewing my work environment.
While I do understand unscheduled emergencies may occur, please kindly offer a 24 hour cancellation notice.
