I am a high school and college math teacher. I have several years of tutoring experience. I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in math, English minor. I also have my M.Ed. in secondary mathematics education from the University of Washington. I am currently working on my Ed.D., researching the effects of error analysis on college readiness in mathematics.
I have taught every math class that is offered at a high school from remedial 9th grade math through AP Calculus. I have also taught Developmental Math, Intermediate Algebra, and College Algebra at the college level. I like math and enjoy helping my students to at least not hate math.
I have tutored every math that is offered at high school and community college. My tutoring experience includes helping strong students get the high grades they desire, helping struggling students to understand the material and be successful, and helping students to prepare for college entrance exams. If you hate math, I won't be able to make you love it, but I will be able to help you to hate it less.
I love working one-on-one or in small groups with students. My tutoring experience has enabled me to quickly figure out what it is that a student does not understand, and address that area of weakness.
I am looking forward to hearing from future students. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. I will reply promptly.
