I am an award winning and published writer with a masters degree and over ten years of tutoring experience. Most of my experience has been in encouraging middle and high schoolers with their writing and public speaking skills. I believe in a twofold approach that not only emphasizes technique and style but also focuses on encouragement and enriching young minds. At the end of the day I hope to instill in my students a true appreciation of the material that will naturally lead to greater technical understanding. A typical lesson would either involve some prepared lessons tailored to your student's needs, or working through a specific essay or assignment.

Most recently I have worked with an ESOL student struggling with virtual learning. Working together we raised his letter grades from D's and F's to A's an B's in the fall quarter and have maintained those scores through the winter and spring.

My undergraduate degree in Religion and graduate degree in Theology equip me with a strong background in religious studies but also further my knowledge of literature and English studies as a whole.

I would absolutely love to hear from you! I am easy to reach, fast to respond, and will be happy to meet your schedule. Please send me an email with a little information and we can set up a free consultation!
