I graduated from Mount Holyoke College at the top of my class with a triple major in biology, English, and education and varsity letter in swimming. My students' ages range from 2-85 years, with most students falling between ages 10 and 30. I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of students and backgrounds and hold endorsements for teaching special needs and English language learners.

Outside of the classroom, I am a scientific researcher and popscience writer. My current projects deal with marine paleobiology, ecology, and rhetoric. I love helping students with academic writing and the applied STEM fields. I am open to working with all people and enjoy fostering the learning process.

Best tutor I could have asked for!

I was in a college GE level oceanography class that seemed extremely daunting to me at first, but then I found Sabrina and she helped me not only pass the class but learn a lot of valuable information that I will take into my own major. I received full credit for all of my assignments, passed all of my exams, and even gained a bit of praise from my professor for my work. She was patient, kept me engaged and was able to motivate me in every session. She is very knowledgeable about oceanography and many other subjects as well. If you're someone who needs a tutor who cares about your learning then Sabrina is the one for you!

Sabrina is great, but the platform was a disaster for my young child

Sabrina was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She also had a great rapport with my 6y old. Unfortunately, the wyzant platform was a disaster for my little one. Sabrina tried her best but my little one was loving all the opportunities to "draw" and play with the tools of the white board. I had to constant remind her to pay attention and let go of the tools, etc. She has had virtual tutoring and classes before through outschool with zoom and for her, it works best if the online platform is only used to see/listen to the teacher instructions and slides (when appropriate), but she has to use a physical white board to write and show the teacher her work. But Sabrina was really great and I hope we can have her tutoring our child once she is comfortable with in person session again.
