It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Jasmine, I am a very enthusiastic teacher starting my second year as a fifth grade teacher. I have taught both science and Virginia studies. This upcoming school year I will be teaching math. I am really passionate about teaching today's youth and helping them reach their goals.
My education includes a Bachelor's of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Community Education from Virginia State University. I am currently in my final semester for a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Liberty University.
My philosophy is to provide a positive learning environment that would be both interesting and challenging. All that I ask for in return, is that they do their best. I believe that all students have the ability to be great learners.
Every since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to be a teacher. It's truly my passion, I work hard to make sure my students pass their SOL's. I am qualified because I have taken the proper courses to certify success in my classroom and during my tutoring sessions.
