Hi there, my name is Stephanie and I've been tutoring since 2005. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, which is a branch of psychology specializing in behavior and skill development.

Hi there, my name is Stephanie and I've been tutoring since 2005. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, which is a branch of psychology specializing in behavior and skill development.
I love getting to teach on a one-on-one basis and seeing the progress my students make in terms of their grades in school and overall study skills and self-esteem. Seeing their confidence build is one of my greatest pleasures.
Throughout my years of tutoring, I have consistently focused on Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Prealgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. The majority of my students have been between the ages of 14 and 18, although more recently I've taught younger children from 3-9-years-old.
I believe that a large part of what has made my students successfully improve their grades in the past is practice, so at the end of each lesson, I assign some extra practice for my students to complete before their next lesson.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and hopefully having a lesson together!
Please note: I am no longer able to take live 1:1 students since I am fully booked. However, in order to make education accessible to everyone (one of my core values) I am offering an asynchronous program for students to message me questions. It is at an introductory rate that is an absolute steal so if asynchronous, remote support fits your needs, I would be glad to chat with you!
