Cornell University (Biology)
Hello! My name is Daniel, and I am a current student in Cornell University, one of the prestigious Ivy League schools. I have always enjoyed tutoring others, so much in fact that I have joined a tutoring program at Cornell University to tutor local high school students in the area. I graduated from my high school as my class's valedictorian, so I understand very well the importance of grades and how that affects admissions into institutions. I am extremely excited to give aid to anyone interested, so please let me know!

Today we went over vowels; and other important stuff . But overall I was SUPER satisfied on how patient he was with me . And he also taught me how to say butterfly. (나비) I'm totally looking forward to my next lesson!!!
I wish my daughter had worked with Daniel for much longer before her SATS- She would have probably made an almost perfect score. She enjoyed his overall approach, his focused and engaging capacity to see where she needed help with rapid analysis of the problem and short cuts to thinking it through. Highly recommended tutor.
Daniel is teaching the material in a way that is making it very easy to comprehend! My daughter is still studying her materials now! Looking forward to the next lesson!!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been qualified by WyzAnt to tutor Algebra I, but I have also been instructed in upper levels of mathematics including Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and more.
I have scored a perfect score on standard Algebra II tests (SOL) and have earned very high grades in all math-related courses.
I graduated from the International Baccalaureate program from Princess Anne High School last year and took the highest level of mathematics offered by the program.
I also learned English as my Second Language, so I understand how to learn this language most efficiently. I have lived in U.S. for 11 years now and am perfectly fluent in English.
I am a Korean citizen, and am fully bilingual. Not only have I regularly written journals/diaries in Korean, but for about six years now I have also been serving my church as a Korean-English translator. I still use Korean when speaking with my family or my Korean friends.
Not only have I passed the WyzAnt math test, I also have experience in teaching SAT's through a program in Cornell University. I am quite familiar with this test, so please let me know if you are interested!
