I recently graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. While engineering is my career, I have a passion for teaching and inspiring kids, particularly in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and math). I aim to help every child understand and enjoy math and science as well as learning I general as much as I have.

Much of my educational background comes from working with the Boyscouts of America. I have written and taught curriculum design to teach circuitry, physics, math, chemistry, and many other subjects in a fun, hands on fashion for youngsters who don't initially show interest. I have also tutored fellow class mates at RIT in subjects such as calculus and chemistry. Furthermore, I have experience tutoring algebra and geometry for high schoolers. I enjoy making learning fun on all levels.

My degrees in engineering focused heavily on math. I received a 90% or higher in all of my high school level math courses, a 5 on the calculus AB AP exam, and have received a B or higher on collegiate courses ranging from calculus to differential equations and statistics.

I also took a three course lab based chemistry sequence and received A's in all of my classes. I have taught chemistry to grade school children before ranging from 6 years old to juniors in high school. Through many lab experience I applied chemistry and have the ability to demonstrate its practical uses to students.

I have worked with cub scouts frequently (elementary aged boys). I also have three younger siblings. I understand how active young bodies need to be, and how to keep them excited about learning by incorporating games and activities, I also have the patience to work with them when they don't understand something or don't want to do the work. Overall, I am passionate about seeing that spark when a kid finally understands a difficult concept or learns something exciting, and I will do anything to help them get there!

I love to have fun while learning, and I love to help others learn anything! I can't wait to meet my new students and help them on there journey towards being excellent scholars!
