My name is Dylan, and I hope to one day become a professor in mathematics. It's something I've become very passionate about throughout my endeavors at college, because I used to struggle with math until I began to see the beauty of it. My name is Dylan, and I hope to one day become a professor in mathematics. It's something I've become very passionate about throughout my endeavors at college, because I used to struggle with math until I began to see the beauty of it. In all of my classes, I've regularly met with other students to help them understand concepts, review for tests, and get an overall higher confidence in math. That's actually what made me want to become a tutor in the first place! I also enjoy science, and my favorite subject in that is physics. Overall, my goal is to conduct research in higher fields of math while teaching students about the math that describes how our physical world behaves. Because of that, I'm always looking for ways that subjects can relate to every day life, as well as helping people develop a better understanding of how to solve problems effectively.

I've taken courses up to Calculus 2, and am currently enrolled in Calculus 3/Multivariate Calculus, and Statistics. In college, I haven't received below an A in a course, and I continue to study lower subjects in math to make my understanding of them more rigorous. This includes learning proofs that most schools don't bother teaching, or coming up with new ways to look at concepts. What I think would make me the best tutor is how much I enjoy seeing the light bulb appear above a student's head when they begin to understand a subject!

I did excellent in my high school physics class, and I performed well in my University physics class. I focus mostly on how we derive relationships between different things, such as how velocity relates to position and acceleration.

I believe that I'm able to convey information to a student in much more relatable and understandable way than the average teacher, because I truly understand what it feels like to struggle in math. I'm very patient, and I don't give up until I'm sure the student understands the material front and back. Hopefully, I'll be able to make math even seem like a fun subject!
