I am a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the George Washington Unversity (GWU). I have been continuously tutoring math and science courses at graduate, undergraduate, college, high school and elementary school level for the last 11 years as a private tutor and also a tutor employee at the George Washington University.

My students' age ranged from 15 years old teenager in high school to 55 years old NASA employee. My teaching philosophy is based on simplifying of complicated concepts and mutual engagement of students to understand these concepts thoroughly. My teaching style is founded on providing clear yet applicable and easy to understand examples and helping students step by step from easy to hard problems to the point that students feel confident in his/her ability to solve and face any challenging problem or exam by himself or herself alone.

I have been tutoring privately from 2006 subjects like Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Logic, Calculus I, II and II, Differential Equations, Statistics, Advanced Statistics, Regression Analysis, Advanced Regression Analysis, Numerical Methods, Physics, General Physics, University Physics, Statics, Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Material Science, Mechanics of Material, Soil Mechanics, Advanced Soil Mechanics, Foundation Design, Advanced Soil Mechanics, Analysis of Structures, Steel Design, Concrete Design, Dynamics of Structure, Prestressed Concrete, Concrete Bridges, Soil Plasticity, Bridge Design, Random Vibration of Structures, Theoretical Soil Mechanics, Theory of Structural Stability, Analytic Method II and III, Theory of Elasticity, Structural Design Resist Natural Hazard, GRE Math, EIT Civil Engineering and Other Disciplines. My interest and expertise on the above topics have been profound and long-lasting. These topics were my favorite subjects of study and research in high school. I have tutored successfully many students on these subjects and I use and apply these courses practically every day in conjunction with pursuing my dissertation. I have a robust ongoing educational background in the above subjects and I have a long successful tutoring experience. I have already mastered the topics and I would transfer my knowledge in the easiest way possible to the students. The students will achieve great successes in his/her courses/exams and earn an improved grade easily if he/she chooses me to be his/her tutor.

I have been always interested in physics, math, dynamics and science in general. I regularly tried to solve challenging problems in these topics and I found their solution entertaining and fun. The science subjects were extensively studied in high school beyond the formal scope of textbooks by me. I obtained my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. I earned my Master of Science (MS) in Structural Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran. I obtained my Master of Science (MS) in Geotechnical Engineering from the State University of New Jersey, Rutgers. I was an Autocad tutor at the Rutgers University and teaching assistant at the George Washington University. I use these topics on daily basis in my research. I enjoy swimming, playing tennis, and reading in my free time.

You earn a good score if I am your tutor for Elementary Math.
Elementary Science,

Elementary Science

Science education is the field concerned with sharing science content and process with individuals not traditionally considered part of the scientific community. The standards for science education provide expectations for the development of understanding for students through the entire course of their K-12 education and beyond. The traditional subjects included in the standards are physical, life, earth, space, and human sciences. Elementary science usually focuses on simple natural phenomena (nature study) by experiments carried out "in-the-field”. I have taught Elementary Science for many years. My earlier studies in math and physics as a PhD in engineering has enabled me to transfer all physical concepts with a very plain and simple communication to the students. I will help you build a solid foundation in Science if I am your tutor.

Knowledgeable in structural field

Matthew is one of the greatest tutor I have ever worked with in structural field. He knows his stuff very well. He has very solid background in a concrete design, a steel design, and a structural analysis. I always review materials with him before exams; what interesting about his teaching style is that he provides different methods to solve any problem to make you understand it thoroughly.
