I enjoy teaching children to learn. I teach in a variety of ways because I know that children learn in different ways. I love to use hands on activities to teach different skills as well as visual and auditory methods. If the child is struggling with one method of teaching, then I change to a different method until I see success.
In order for children to succeed, they have to know that the teacher cares and respects them. I strongly want your child to love to learn. I want them to love reading! I want them to love math! I will work very hard to have your child succeed. Thank you for giving me a chance to make a difference in your child's life. I would love the opportunity to tutor your child. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
