Bill can look at any Math problem and automatically know how to solve it without any prior explanation of what you're studying. I'm currently taking Statistics I'm more than halfway through and I have that A+! I'm AWFUL at Math it's just one of those things I do not understand, yet I'm understanding Statistics (thanks to bill) which seems to be the class everyone struggles with. I went into this class so stressed and worried and bill has removed all of that anexity. Bill makes me feel comfortable when asking questions, he definitely knows everything. If you're looking for someone to help you YOU HAVE TO USE BILL!!!
Thank you Whitney!
My son is struggling in Algebra and Bill has been a great help already. My son thought he was funny and very knowledgeable. Bill's love for math is contagious, helping my son have a more positive attitude towards his work.
Bill can interpret any equation that you put in front of him and explain it in a way that is easy to understand. He tunes in on your individual learning style and applies it. He was positive and very patient, I would highly recommend him. I don't know how I would have gotten through college math otherwise. Thank you Bill!
You are a fantastic student! Thank you for your kind words.
Bill has been a valuable asset for our son's education. We are very appreciative of Bill's talent, integrity and service.
My son suffered so much from math anxiety, which caused him to quit trying. His confidence level low and I was concerned with how I could help my son since he had to take the ASVAB in order to get accepted into the military. Bill has been a Godsend. My son is excited about math because he finally understands. I gladly sacrifice the weekly tutoring cost. I had begun to lose hope and now my son is ready to go takes the practice ASVAB. Thank you, Bill, for everything.
Bill has been so patient and thorough with our son as he explains various math concepts. We appreciate his willingness to work with our family schedule and is always on time!
Bill has helped me build confidence little by little, I'm learning so much and he is very patient with me. Definitely recommend!
I hired Bill after talking to another friend who had hired him for his son to work on his ASVAB to join the military. My son did well on the ASVAB practice test scoring an 81. I wanted to be sure it wasn't an easy random selection of questions for my son, so I wanted to ensure he was completely ready for the real test. Bill was very patient with my son and seemed to establish a good rapport with my son almost immediately. He was very patient and very dedicated to what he does. I would recommend Bill to others if in need of a tutor. My son scored an 88 on the real ASVAB test (7 pt increase on the real test). Bill was terrific and is very passionate in what he does. I'm sure glad he was so helpful with my son.
Bill has been so patient tutoring me. I understand it can be hard teaching someone who has trouble with basic math skills, but he's taught me more in a few lessons than I had known in my high school career.
Wow. Thank you, Hannah. You are a great student.
Bill has been able to help not only my son but myself as well. He is patient and provides different ways for him to learn things that were difficult to grasp. He is there if we have a question or concern abbot a homework assignment. I am pleased with my son's progress in the short time Bill has been working with him. I am excited to see how my son will do in the coming school year.
Bill has been tutoring my son for about a month now and he is awesome!! My son had been having problems in math and it was becoming difficult to help him without becoming very upset with him. My patience is not good when it comes to doing homework, so I didn't want to take his confidence away from him and make him feel like he was just lost. I decided to find someone who specialized in math who could teach my son the basics step by step and then move him slowly into 6th grade math. Although he has been passing math, I often feel like he is being pushed along. Bill has been great for my son and he enjoys the time Bill is here. He is here twice a week and I can see more confidence in my child. I believe by the time he starts 6th grade next school year he will be more prepared and the math will be fresh in his brain. I would highly recommend Bill to assist your child.
Bill is a very patient teacher. He is very knowledgeable in reading and writing learning contexts. He creates a positive learning environment.
If you are looking for a tutor with patience, well Bill is your man. He has done a very good job for my son helping him to prepare for the ASVAB. Most of all, he used the time wisely and was able to teach my son many things in the 2 hour block we had set up. Also, Bill really cares about helping out the student. He can sense their weakness and help them to be able to overcome it. Also, his feedback really helps me to understand what he did to help my son. Thanks again!
Bill is wonderful! I cannot express enough how greatful we are to have him tutor our son. We pulled our son out of the public school system and took the plunge and decided to homeschool our 17 year old. Bill enters the picture and he puts my mind at ease right away. We are all comfortable with him as soon as he enters the door, even my furries, which is a big plus with us. If our animals don't feel comfy with you, we don't feel comfy with you.
Billwas able to relate to our son, and not come off as pushy or to authoritative, but he was not a push-over either. He is available to help if our son needs help with his homework at any time. Like I said, I am very grateful for Bill. He has made the homeschooling transition very smooth and helpful. I promise, he will be a fantastic addition to your child's academic needs. Also, as a military family, we liked that he understands the struggles we face. So please consider him when choosing a tutor. You will not be disappointed.
You are a wonderful family (I am definitely including your "furries"). I have adored working with you and your son. Thank you for the awesomely kind words.
Bill is an attentive tutor who takes the time to thoroughly explain each math concept so that my son is able to master the material.
4/24: Most Improved Award!
This week my son received an award from his school for being the most improved in math in his class. Bill's tutoring has been "life changing" for my son and we really feel blessed to have found him. Happy smiles around our house.
3/19: In a word... Success!
My son has learned a lot from Bill but no lesson has been more important than how Bill makes my son feel. My son is more confident, motivated by his knowledge and proud of his success. He started with a 53% three weeks into the grading period! By the end of the nine weeks he had earned a final grade of 90%!!! More important is his motivation to do even better this grading period.
I highly recommend Bill. 2/2: Just starting out but the future looks promising.
Bill was very quick to respond to my initial email, scheduled a tutoring session immediately and was right on time to his first meeting. As parents, we were desperate for immediate help, and he was there in a flash. My 15 year old boy was not thrilled about getting a tutor (surprise) but Bill made him feel comfortable, hopeful and capable of getting back on track and succeeding. After the initial tutoring session, my son did not complain at all! In fact he seemed relieved to get help. Coming from a teenage boy, that's probably all the review we need to keep Bill coming back.
My husband and I sat in the other room and listened to the tutoring. Bill was patient (a lot more patient than us) and detailed in his explanations. He challenged my son to work the problems all the way through. He was in command of the situation and did not let my teenager drift, short cut or make excuses. I believe my son is prepared for the week ahead and we are hopeful for better grades.
I'll keep you updated.
Bill is a great tutor and is really helping my daughter. We hired Bill to help improve my daughter's SAT scores. Bill quickly figured out where my daughter needed help. My daughter is feeling very confident and prepared for the SAT. He is very patient and explains things in a way which she easily understands. She likes working with Bill so much that we plan on using him as a tutor for AP Calculus next year.
Bill is a great and patient tutor. My daughter has been struggling in math and reading comprehension, she is sweet, calm and dedicated student but we all have our own unique way to understand and perceived things, she haven't found the right teacher to explain to her these topics in a way she can understand until we met Bill. She is so happy and excited that Bill is the right teacher she needed and being waiting for all this time.
As a parent and teacher that I am in other areas I can see he has all the skills, the passion and joy a person needs to be a teacher/tutor, he loves what he does! he is genuine.
He's inspiring, enthusiastic, and gives my daughter the confidence to trust in herself never letting her get frustrated or boring. Her tutoring starts at 8:00am Saturday, what kid would like to study at this time during this day unless is having so much fun, learning and believing in herself, well this is my lovely daughter thanks to his Tutor/Teacher.
I was little bit hesitant to look for tutoring with out a reference from a friend or find it through a website, but I trusted that I would find the right person and we did!!
So if you are looking for someone kind, knowledgeable, punctual, dedicated, prepared, fun, joyful and interested in your kid in the same way you do, You just found it!!
I highly recommend him with no doubt in my mind.
I only had one session so far with Bill. However, he is very knowledgeable and patient with his students. I highly recommend his skills to anyone in need of some assistance getting ahead.
Bill is a knowledgeable instructor, with great patience, and I will definitely highly recommend him with no doubt in my mind. I was able to learn more in an hour and a half with Bill, than what I had the first half of my semester.
I really like the way you teach and I think you are really nice, cool, and that you're a really funny guy.
Thank you, Anthony. Your grades are going to go up fast because you are a great young man!
My son was very pleased with the professionalism in how Bill conducted the session. Very detailed and provide helpful ways to to better understand the subjects.
My son says he wishes his tutor was his math teacher! He says he is patient and has outstanding teaching skills! We are very happy we found a great tutor for our son.
Bill, just wanted to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! You have worked with me from the middle of my class to the very end. I was very behind when I met you and by diligence and dedication we were able to catch up and finish the class and even have 1 day to spare. We've spent a lot of time but it was worth it. I was in jeopardy of failing the class and now I will have a B average and I will have my Associate's Degree. Me and my family thank you and and will be forever indebted with your generosity and selfless service. You are a great American, a great soldier, and a great fiend. I have learned a lot from you in this short time we've spent together and if I ever need help with math again, you will be the first person I think of. Thanks again Bill and do wish you the best in your studies and God bless you and you family!! GO Bill, GO BILL, GO BILL, GO BILL, GO BILL!!!
I am honored to know you. You are a fantastic man. I am proud of your accomplishment of getting your degree. Remember to shoot for the stars, because your future is only limited to what you can dream.
I am very pleased with Mr. Bill's services. He is always prepared, organized, knowledgeable
and a trustworthy person. Mr. Bill is known to me as a punctual and responsible tutor.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
