I practice patience and understanding; I employ examples and analogies to help make learning fun and comprehensive.

Masters level engineering requires frequent use of calculus, differential equations and other high level math skills

Knows chess and explains it well

I'm a total beginner. Michael took me step by step, explaining for each move what the risks and opportunities are. Was a good session. We used chess.com for our game platform, and analyzed the game.

Patient and Knowledgeable

This was my second session with Michael, who has been helping me out with my Linear Circuits Analysis II course. He has been awesome as far as his explanation and understanding of the subject goes. My current professor reads directly out of the textbook and doesn’t really give any explanation other than that. Michael has been a life saver and I would highly suggest any EE majors to use him to clarify questions you may have.

Great teacher

I wasn’t doing so hot in chemistry and he was very patient with me while explaining all of the problems to me. 10/10 recommend him as a tutor, plus he’s funny so you can’t go wrong.

Michael is a great Chess teacher!

Michael is patient, understanding, articulate and he knows the game well. In one lesson, my son said he learned a lot that he did not know prior. I would recommend Michael to anyone looking to get better at Chess.
