Hi, I'm Jeremy! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I have always enjoyed learning and using math but as I progressed through college I realized the importance of being able to ask questions one-on-one. Meeting with professors and tutors greatly helped me learn concepts, and I myself began tutoring students. Between tutoring and using math concepts in my coursework, I developed a deep understanding of the material and how to present it to others. I have helped students with shorter sessions focusing on specific problem sets, and I have also developed more long term plans covering a course through a semester or a full year.
I first tutored students at Blue Ridge Community College. I tutored students in precalculus, trigonometry, calculus, and physics. During my time as a tutor there I worked with students of various ages. The experience caused me to quickly adapt to whatever subject and area a student might request. I have also tutored several high school students for a longer period of time. I prepared plans and examples for each area in their requested subject and helped them work through unique assignments.
I am passionate about tutoring and providing the best experience I can. I am happy to adapt lessons to address specific needs and do my best to be flexible. I respond quickly please don't hesitate to ask questions or schedule a lesson.
