I taught at Boston University and have tutored for the last three years on a variety of topics, especially writing, English, history, and social sciences. I teach for the AP Exams, do standardized test prep, and help with applications. I love learning, teaching, and working with lots of different people. I have spent extensive time living, studying, and researching in North India. I have a BA in anthropology and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies from Dartmouth College.

I love teaching and making sure that students understand the material. I focus on how the student learns and tailor my sessions to their particular learning styles and interests. I can help with writing assignments and provide editing as needed, whether it's your first draft or your 23rd! I have experience doing this at the college and high school level. I see teaching as a collaborative process. I have experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds, educational levels, and who have disabilities. I also welcome any and all information students can provide about their classes, assignments, and materials.

I have taken many social science courses in high school (AP exams including Govt, World, European, and American History, English Lang and Lit), college, and graduate school. These classes have covered areas all over the world and time periods since the beginning of early humans. I have studied sociology, psychology, and public policy among others.

Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about me, my experiences tutoring, and what subjects I teach. I would love to talk to you about your tutoring needs and how I could best support you or your student.
