My name is Catherine and I graduated from the University of Virginia in May! In the upcoming year, I am excited to be attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, a top 5 institution. Throughout my time at UVA, I earned a 4.0 GPA in all of my science classes, including chemistry, biology, physics, and biochemistry. While studying for the MCAT, my full length average was a 522, and on the actual MCAT I scored a 522 (132 BB, 130 CARS, 132 C/P, and 128 P/S), receiving full points on the biology/biochemistry and the chemistry/physics sections.

After spending years preparing for my medical school application, I would like to share my knowledge and advice with other pre-meds! I have 6 years of tutoring experience, first tutoring high-school and middle school students when I was a junior in high school. I continued tutoring in college, continuing to tutor middle-school students. In my second year, I became a peer tutor for my biology and physics classes, so I now have 3 years experience tutoring my fellow college students in topics covered by the MCAT. I like to work with students to create study plans that are tailored for their individual needs, then use that structure to move forward with content. I also help you develop test-taking strategies that are best suited to your strengths.
