Hello! I am currently a special education teacher at a public middle school. I previously taught middle school English and Math, prior to earning my MAT in special education. While working on my special education degree, I worked in an alternative education school teaching middle school and high school math. Once I earned my special ed degree, I began teaching students with IEPs at a public elementary school. I taught mostly math and English, but helped students grades K-5 in all subject areas. I moved to the middle school to be closer to home. I have experience in all subjects k-6, math and English k-8, and math k-12.
I am certified and experienced in teaching students with special needs. I understand that some children need to learn in multiple manors.
I have taught a total of 10 years of reading, writing, and grammar grades k-8. I have taught ESL students in my classroom and have a TOEFL certificate.
