PhD candidate sharing the love of math & science for 10+ years

I have been tutoring in Math and Science in all ages from Kindergarten through high school (Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2) as well as SAT and ACT math since 2005. I keep up with the SAT and ACT as the constantly change. I have helped many students bring up their grades drastically. I understand that no two students learn in the same way and I work hard to find the way to tailor tutoring to each student that I work with. I am confident that I can find a way to make math click in most students. I love to encourage my students to be the best that they can be.

I went to Virginia Tech where I studied Mathematics and Psychology. After graduating, I went to George Mason University and got my Master's in Public Health. Immediately after, I started my PhD program in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience at George Mason University. I have been teaching in the Psychology department since I started the program. I love teaching undergrads about the brain and the nervous system. In my program, I study learning and memory in mice models. I love Math and Science and believe that everyone can master these topics. There is always a way to make math click in people, its simply a matter of finding it. I have been tutoring for over 10 years.
