About Nishit

I am Nishit Babaria a Computer Science MS graduate from George Mason University. Instructing computers is what I love and it is what I do in my daily life.
I have been in this field since 6 years as a student and have had multiple professional experiences.
To instruct the computers to do things for you , you need to know the language they understand thus the language I am proficient is Java and have all my projects implemented using Java as a programming language.
To support the above I have listed my following appropriate experiences:
(1) Graduate Teaching Assistant - George Mason University - Course : IT 106 (Introduction to Java and Programming):
At this job my role was to conduct lab sessions for students by teaching them a particular topic in Java and later during the lab help them solve their doubts while they are programming.Have office hours for students to answer their doubts in details and in person so the students get to learn it thoroughly so he remembers it forever. The methodology I use to teach students is simple just like the 'Divide and Conquer' technique : Break down the big problem into smaller problems and solve those smaller problems iteratively and merge the solutions to get the final solution. In this process I help the student to understand the fundamentals and thus he can apply these to programming making him code efficiently. At this job I communicated with 60 students in all and thus got an experience of deaing with students with different intellects.

(2) Software Engineer (Java Developer)- Netuitive
- Build REST endpoints to perform CRUD(Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations using Spring-MVC pattern for which Java was used.
- Experience with communicating with the Team Lead to perform tasks efficiently.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.

Tutoring Methods :
1) As mentioned above , my methods would be simple and clear and would help the student to grasp the fundamentals quickly and thus making him help to code efficiently, thus a good programming practice will be observed. Constant feedbacks would be provided and step by step methodology will be implemented.
I am a young Java enthusiast with many fun projects under my belt, a teaching experience and the passion to communicate and teach students willing to learn Java / programming techniques.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Computer Programming

I hold a Master's in Computer Science from George Mason University with a cumulative GPA of 3.53.
I am currently working full-time as a software developer so my day to day work requires computer programming. I have been coding since 6+ years.

Computer Science

I am a computer science MS graduate from George Mason University with numerous successfully implemented projects. I have a teaching experience as a graduate teaching assistant at the AIT department of GMU where I taught Java to undergraduate students and helped them during their lab sessions and as well as clear their doubts by teaching how to code efficiently. I tend to break down the problem and then get the solution, and this is the same way I teach students how to code and learn programming techniques.
