Rhiannon has been great developing a rapport with my child. She is very knowledgeable and has a nice way of presenting the material.
Rhiannon and I are getting along very well. She is a good listener and well-prepared, she answers my questions and bring me work sheets on grammar topics that I have problem, corrects my writing and helps me out with my cover letter for my job applications. She calls before she comes, she is very easy to reach by phone. I am very happy and satisfied with her work.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Reading is a critical component of both my professional vocation and my education. I am an avid reader with a keen insight for tone and literary device. As an English major at George Mason University, my focus of study was in non fiction writing and ethnography. The discipline required extensive reading, which I very much enjoyed. I also find it very rewarding share my passion for reading with others.
As a professional writer and copy editor, I have extensive experience in writing and editing. In my professional role, I am responsible for both internal and external written communication, website copy, newsletter copy and corporate proposals. I am a strong editor and I work well with others. I graduated from George Mason University with a BA in English and Communication.
