My name is Robin and I live in Chester, VA. I have over 5 years of teaching experience primarily in business education courses; I have taught business students and medical assistants at Centura College in Richmond. I have also tutored students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs). I am a graduate of Va Tech with a BS in Psychology. I completed my masters coursework at VCU in 1988, but did not do my thesis, so I enrolled at Walden University in 2006. I completed my Masters in Organizational Psychology in 2008 and will complete my PhD in Organizational Psychology in Aug of 2011. I have always done extremely well in my statistics courses. In Stats II, I was the only student out of 15 to complete all assignments correctly each week.

Robin is the best tutor I have ever worked with! She would explain everything you need to know. After working with her over the course of the semester, I am very confident in this subject. With her skills and knowledge, I will be earning a grade of A in the course. She makes sure you are satisfied with the course material. I remember one time when I had problem with a specific question, I left her house to go home and Robin stayed up for a very long time to figure out how to solve the problem. She makes sure you understand the problem before she ends the session. I would highly recommend and endorse Robin to anyone struggling with Statistics. Take my word for what it is worth, you would not regret her assistance!
I am in an Education Doctorate program, and Robin is the perfect match for my tutoring needs; she continues to get me through some tough challenges. Robin is very intelligent, and can very quickly analyze issues and offer suggestions on the best way to approach difficult problems. She is especially skilled in quantitative strategies and academic writing. She has a very pleasant, patient and caring personality, and that carries over in her tutoring approach. I feel very comfortable asking questions that are important to me, but probably seem simple to her. I give Robin my highest recommendation.
Robin is kind and patient. She is excited about statistics. She just did not have the experience with SPSS I needed to get the level of understanding I need for my current course.
Robin provided a good initial sitdown. Most questions were answered, I'm learning that there are wide variances in the actual field of statistics. I will continue use the tools that were presented.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
